Outcomex is offering a permanent full-time position for an accomplished ICT Project Manager with extensive client-facing experience and a proven track record in delivering end-to-end, large-scale, mission-critical projects across ICT Infrastructure, Security, Unified Communications, Networks, Data Centres, AI & IoT — spanning both greenfield and brownfield environments.

About the Role

As part of the Outcomex Project Management Office (PMO), you will assume full accountability for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful execution of large-scale ICT infrastructure deployments and integrations.

Reporting to the PMO Manager, you'll ensure all project activities are delivered on time and to deadlines, within scope and budget, while maintaining alignment with business objectives, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the End-to-End Delivery of complex, mission-critical ICT infrastructure projects.

  • Manage Builders and Trade Partners, ensuring all design, construct, and integration activities meet project objectives.

  • Engage with Executive Management, Sponsors, Stakeholders, Vendors, and Internal Teams to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Develop and manage Project Plans, Budgets, Schedules, Risks, and Governance Documentation.

  • Maintain strict control over Scope, Change, Quality, and Resource Allocation.

  • Conduct Workshops, Coordination Meetings, and Project Briefings to drive alignment across all delivery partners.

  • Provide clear, Proactive Communication and Manage Escalations effectively.

  • Serve as the Primary Point of Contact for assigned projects, ensuring client satisfaction and delivery excellence.

  • Prepare and present progress reports to Executive Steering Committees and senior leadership.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Information Technology, or a similar related discipline (Mandatory)

  • Project Management Certification (Prince2 or PMP) (Mandatory)

  • ITIL Certification (Mandatory)

Experience, Skills & Attributes

  • 8+ years' experience in a Senior ICT Project Management role within a Professional Services environment (Mandatory)

  • Proven success managing complex, mission-critical ICT builds, integrations, migrations, and transformation projects in a Waterfall environment (Mandatory)

  • Demonstrated experience managing Builders and Trade pPartners on Design & Construct projects (Mandatory)

  • Strong leadership across all project phases—managing Scope, Cost, Quality, Schedule, Risks, and Decisions

  • Proven experience delivering multi-year, large-scale ICT programs to completion

  • Advanced Microsoft Project scheduling and resource management expertise

  • Exceptional Stakeholder, Vendor, and Relationship Management skills

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills across technical and executive levels

  • Strong Governance, Documentation, and Reporting discipline

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused

  • Proactive, resilient, and self-motivated with a strong drive for success

  • Working with Children Check and White Card are advantageous

Additional Requirements

  • Must hold Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or unrestricted work rights.

  • Regional travel will be required.

  • 50% in Office, 50% Remote.

  • A Criminal Background check and Working With Children check is mandatory for this position.
