About the Role

We are seeking a Project Architect with strong local experience delivering institutional or commercial projects to join our collaborative studio. This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and delivery of significant education and community projects, while contributing to the ongoing growth and direction of the practice.

You'll lead the design and delivery of significant education and community projects across all phases — from strategic briefing and concept design through to construction and post-occupancy review. Working closely with Directors, clients, contractors, and consultants, your responsibilities will include:

Leading design development and client presentations

Preparing and reviewing Revit documentation

Coordinating consultant teams and authority approvals

Managing project programmes and deliverables

Contract administration during construction

Mentoring junior team members

This role suits an architect who wants more than project delivery. We're looking for someone motivated to build client relationships, contribute to practice growth, and take on greater leadership over time. For the right person, there's a genuine pathway to Associate level.

About You

Registered Architect (or eligible for registration) in Queensland, with 5+ years' local experience

Advanced Revit proficiency and a proven ability to lead complex documentation

Strong technical knowledge across all project stages, including NCC and Australian Standards

Experience coordinating consultants, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams

Confident communicator who builds strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Experience mentoring junior staff

Professional referees available

Current Queensland Driver's Licence
