Landscape Construction Project Manager

About the Role

GJs Landscape & Civil are seeking an experienced and driven Landscape Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial landscaping and civil construction projects from planning through to completion. This role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with time, cost, quality, and safety objectives

  • Oversee daily site operations, coordinating materials, equipment, and workforce

  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and challenges

 Management

  • Collaborate with senior management, clients, consultants, and site teams

  • Build and maintain strong client and community relationships

  • Support tendering, planning, and business growth initiatives

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards

  • Identify risks, manage incidents, and promote a strong safety culture

Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and support site teams and apprentices

  • Foster a positive, high-performance team environment

  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices across projects

Skills & Experience

  • Strong ability to prioritise, self-manage, and meet deadlines

  • Hands-on, adaptable team player with a proactive attitude

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • High level of accountability across full project delivery lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Landscape Construction, Civil Construction, or related field

  • Proven experience in commercial landscaping or civil project management

  • Current Driver’s Licence

  • Valid Construction White Card (WHS certification)
