As a Project Engineer, you will be providing support to the Project and Contract Managers for coordinating the development and provision of deliverables for acquisition and recurring services projects.

You will provide the interface between Engineering representatives of the customer and CAE’s engineering teams and subcontractors. This would include anything from planning, controlling and reporting on technical project activities and the status of deliverable artefacts.

  • Overall accountability for the design integrity of projects
  • Ensuring that engineering and QA process and policies are being adhered to
  • Providing support to test and specialty engineering
  • Own the responsibility of the customers level of technical confidence in the project
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong experience within the engineering space, ideally mixed with project management
  • Having a background in simulation technology
  • Proven ability to think critically and engage as well as influence stakeholders
  • Can come with a strong background in Software/Hardware engineering
  • Ability to work in our Brisbane Office, and travel to RAAF Base Amberley as required – role operates as a Hybrid role (3 days in office/site and 2 days of flexibility)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance – must be an Australian Citizen!
Preferred Qualifications
  • Will consider someone with a strong background in Systems, Software or Hardware Engineering
  • Experience within the Defence industry is desirable
