Project Engineer - Pre Contracts

The Opportunity
  
You know how projects can go sideways. You’ve seen the good, the bad, and the “who approved that methodology?”
  
Now it’s your turn to use your engineering brain at the front end -where decisions get made, assumptions get tested, and outcomes start to form. This is a pre-contracts role where you’ll work alongside some of the best in the industry to:
  

• Develop construction methodologies (the ones that make sense)
• Prepare estimates and tender submissions - putting real numbers on big ideas
• Identify project risks and opportunities early - before they become someone else’s problem
• Support bid strategy and work-winning activities -because winning the work matters
• Influence how major projects are planned and delivered – make your impact.

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years’ civil infrastructure experience
• Strong construction methodology knowledge
• Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
• Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail
• A genuine desire to grow beyond traditional site-based roles
• Estimating experience is not essential.

  
We value delivery experience and practical engineering thinking. If you’ve already made solid decisions on site, you’ll bring the right mindset to pre-contract and estimating.
