The Opportunities
Hall Contracting is seeking a Project Engineer and a Project Manager to join their growing project teams across Australia.

These roles will support upcoming works including offshore pipeline construction, dredging operations, marine infrastructure upgrades and coastal construction projects. Successful candidates will gain exposure to technically challenging marine and civil works delivered in remote environments across Australia.

FIFO Roster options currently available include 2:1 and 3:1 rotations, depending on project requirements.

These are FIFO opportunities, and applications are welcomed from candidates across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the successful delivery of projects to ensure works are completed safely, on time and within budget
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and clients
• Assist with or lead project planning, procurement, reporting and cost control activities
• Manage project schedules, budgets and contractual requirements
• Support and drive safety, environmental and quality compliance across all project activities
• Prepare and review project documentation, forecasting and progress reporting
• Identify project risks and opportunities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and communication throughout project delivery
• Mentor and support engineers, supervisors and site personnel where required

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager or similar role within civil, marine, mining or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery, safety and quality requirements
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts and reporting requirements
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive successful project outcomes
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify project risks and opportunities
• Ability to work effectively in remote FIFO environments
• Leadership experience mentoring engineers, supervisors and site personnel will be highly regarded
