Job no: K8ERF Category: Management We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Mackay Service team. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing a range of service-related projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver complex service-related projects on time and within budgetMonitor project work to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and engineering practicesLiaise with engineering, production teams, and subcontractorsTake accountability for and resolve daily operational issuesDevelop and maintain strong, high-value customer relationshipsEnsure customer requirements are met from contract initiation through to completionApply strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex project challenges About You You are a proactive and solutions-focused professional with strong leadership and communication skills. You thrive in dynamic environments and have a proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong safety focus. Qualifications Electrotechnology trade qualification (e.g. Cert III in Electrotechnology)Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering (desirable)Tertiary qualification in Project Management or equivalent experience Technical Competencies & Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (presentations, spreadsheets, reports)Ability to use digital collaboration tools in remote or geographically dispersed teamsExperience using ERP systems for resource management and cost trackingCurrent Driver’s Licence Experience Minimum 5 years’ project management experience, or 8+ years in a specialist fieldExperience in heavy manufacturing and/or mining environmentsStrong problem-solving skills across technical and people management challengesDemonstrated commitment to safe work practicesProven customer relationship management experience Employee Benefits At Ampcontrol, we recognise that our people are key to our success.
