Team members collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.Role Description This is a full-time, off-site Project Manager role based in Central Coast, NSW. The Project Manager will oversee structural metal fabrication projects from planning through completion, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal fabrication teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, managing expediting activities, and monitoring logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. The role involves conducting or supervising inspections to verify quality and compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The Project Manager will track project progress, address risks and issues, maintain project documentation, and provide clear, timely communication to clients and internal stakeholders.QualificationsStrong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.Experience with expediting and working as an expeditor to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.Knowledge of expediting processes and inspection practices related to structural metal fabrication and installation.Proficiency in logistics management, including coordination of suppliers, transport, and site deliveries.Background in construction, fabrication, engineering, or a related field; experience with structural metal projects is highly regarded.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.Effective problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams.Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Project or similar tools, spreadsheets, and documentation systems).Relevant tertiary qualification or trade background in engineering, construction management, or a similar discipline preferred.
