We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading mining operation in the Northern Bowen Basin region on a full-time permanent basis.
  
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring the safe, efficient and successful execution of capital and sustaining projects across CHPP and fixed plant infrastructure, while enjoying the stability that comes with a permanent position.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution and delivery of electrical projects from concept through to completion.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors and internal site teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Oversee shutdown planning and execution activities to minimise operational disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards, engineering requirements and statutory obligations.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Utilise SAP for project tracking, maintenance integration, procurement and reporting activities.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and project delivery efficiencies.
  
About You
  • Electrical Trade Qualification and/or Electrical Engineering background.
  • Project Management qualification or equivalent project delivery experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Fixed Plant and CHPP operations within the mining industry.
  • Proven history successfully delivering electrical projects in a mining environment.
  • Experience coordinating and executing shutdown-based project work.
  • Demonstrated experience using SAP.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple project priorities.
