About the role
Mint FFE is seeking a FF&E Project Assistant to join our dynamic team in Alexandria, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in the Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) sector within the construction and project management industry.
As FF&E Project Assistant, you will provide essential support to our project management team, assisting in the coordination, planning and delivery of FF&E projects from inception through to completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring our projects run smoothly, on time and within budget, whilst maintaining the high standards Mint FFE is known for.
Key responsibilities
Assisting Project Managers with day-to-day coordination and administration of FF&E projects
Preparing and maintaining project documentation, schedules, budgets and reports
Coordinating with suppliers, contractors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Liaising with clients to provide project updates and address any queries or concerns
Supporting the tracking of project expenditure and assisting with cost control measures
Helping to organise site visits, inspections and project meetings
Processing purchase orders, invoices and other administrative documentation
Contributing to health and safety compliance on project sites
Assisting with the compilation of project close-out documentation and lessons learned reports
What we're looking for
A relevant qualification in construction management, project management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a similar role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Project
A keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all administrative tasks
Basic knowledge of FF&E, construction processes and project management principles
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and support senior project staff
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Knowledge of health and safety requirements in the construction industry is advantageous
Experience in the FF&E or hospitality sectors would be highly desirable
