Project Manager - AI Infrastructure & Data Centre Delivery (6-Month Contract)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile AI infrastructure project involving data centre environments, physical infrastructure deployment, and advanced compute technologies.

This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension, supporting the implementation of next-generation AI capabilities across enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.

The role offers hybrid working flexibility and will require occasional interstate travel to coordinate stakeholders, vendors, and site-based delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across AI infrastructure and data centre environments.
• Coordinate the deployment of physical infrastructure, including compute, networking, power, cooling, and associated facilities requirements.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and governance processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, facilities providers, and executive stakeholders.
• Drive project planning, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure delivery milestones are achieved within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops, project reviews, and steering committee updates.
• Coordinate interstate site activities and vendor engagement where required.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex infrastructure or technology projects.
• Strong understanding of data centre environments and physical infrastructure deployment.
• Proven project management experience managing multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Experience with project governance, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving technology environments.

Highly Regarded

• Experience delivering AI, high-performance computing (HPC), or GPU-enabled infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to NVIDIA technologies, platforms, or ecosystem partners.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking, compute, storage, and cloud integration.
• Experience working with colocation providers or large-scale data centre facilities.
• Relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
