We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer in Sydney with a proven track record in the electronic security industry within the data centre sector or other large-scale environment. This role is suited to someone with a positive attitude, strong technical capability, sound commercial awareness and the confidence to take ownership and deliver results.  You enjoy solving challenges, thrive in a dynamic environment and are recognised for delivering solutions, building trusted relationships and achieving outcomes.  You bring strong experience in the electronic security sector, supported by broad technical capability and relevant qualifications and certifications.

Key Attributes & Requirements 

Project Delivery & Execution 

  • Proven Project Engineer experience within electronic security, data centres or a similar technical environment. 

  • Highly capable, organised and able to manage multiple priorities with confidence. 

  • Strong work ethic with a reputation for consistently delivering outcomes. 

Technical Capability & Systems Expertise 

  • Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV and integrated security systems. 

  • High technical and design capabilities with installation, programming/commissioning and problem-solving experience. 

  • An ability to understand, interpret and modify drawings. 

  • Professional credentials and industry certifications (Lenel, PMI or equivalent highly regarded). 

Customer & Stakeholder Management 

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships. 

Operational Excellence, Safety & Continuous Improvement 

  • Experience supporting live project environments with a strong focus on quality, safety and customer outcomes. 

  • Resilient, proactive and comfortable working under pressure and overcoming challenges. 

  • Positive, can-do attitude with a solutions-focused mindset. 

Team Collaboration & Ways of Working 

  • A collaborative team player who enjoys responsibility, embraces accountability and contributes positively to achieving shared outcomes.
