Nathalie Scipioni Architects is an award-winning architecture and interior design studio located in Sydney's eastern suburbs. We are looking for a passionate and capable Project Leader or Graduate of Architecture to join our growing team and play a key role across a diverse portfolio of high-quality residential, commercial and heritage projects.

Led by Nathalie Scipioni, our studio brings together 30 years of architectural experience across Australia, France and Italy. Our work combines contemporary design thinking with a deep understanding of heritage, materiality, detail and place.

We are a small, collaborative studio where every team member has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully. You will not be hidden in the background or limited to one narrow part of the process. You will work closely with the Director, clients, consultants, builders and the wider team across all stages of a project, from early concept design through to documentation, approvals and construction.

Our projects range from high-end residential alterations and additions to complex developments, interiors, heritage restorations and boutique commercial work. Your Role

As a Project Leader, you will be right in the thick of the action, working closely with our Director and leading projects from inception through to construction. You will manage multiple projects, liaise with clients and consultants, coordinate documentation, guide junior team members where required, and help bring thoughtful, well-resolved designs to life.

As a Graduate of Architecture, you will be immersed in a diverse range of projects, working alongside our Director and experienced architects from the earliest design concepts through to construction. You will gain valuable exposure to all aspects of practice, including design, documentation, consultant coordination, and construction site involvement, helping you build the skills and experience required for professional registration.

What You Bring

Experience:
2+ years of post-qualification experience, with strong local Sydney experience.

Technical Skills:
Expert skills in ArchiCAD, versions 19–28.

Design & Detail:
A keen eye for design, detailing and documentation, with a proactive and considered approach to your work.

Communication:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, builders, suppliers and team members.

Learning Mindset:
A genuine interest in current design trends, materials, construction methods and professional growth.

Time Management:
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise, delegate, meet deadlines and manage competing project demands in a fast-paced studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Development Applications, Section 4.55s, Construction Certificates and Complying Development Certificates.

• Develop detailed construction documentation.

• Create detailed working drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and builders.

• Stay informed on and apply relevant BCA requirements, Australian standards, planning controls and safe design principles.

• Manage project deadlines and delegate tasks where required.

• Assist with Contract Administration under the guidance of the Director.

• Contribute to the creative and technical development of projects across the studio.

Bonus Points

Experience or knowledge with Class 2 or heritage buildings will be highly valued. Experience in a small firm

Salary:
$75,000–$90,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
