About the Organisation

We are partnering with a prominent public sector department dedicated to upholding standards, safety, and fairness within the industry.

Operating within a dynamic and shifting environment, they are undergoing an exciting digital transformation.

The Role

As the Digital Project Lead you will serve as a strategic enabler and trusted advisor. Rather than strictly enforcing rigid methodologies, your mandate is to partner collaboratively with existing teams to co‑design, mature, and embed practical, scalable project frameworks.

You will lead a small team of specialists, providing end‑to‑end oversight of investment lifecycle, enterprise governance and benefits realisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Governance & Reporting: Facilitate executive‑level investment committees and deliver high‑quality portfolio reporting on risks, milestones, and performance metrics.
  • Delivery Enablement: Co‑design fit‑for‑purpose templates, project artefacts, and playbooks that reduce execution complexity and foster consistency across digital and business streams.
  • Assurance & Quality: Oversee the enterprise project assurance framework, conducting constructive gate reviews and project health checks with a focus on coaching over enforcement.
  • Advantages Realisation: Manage the tracking and reporting of post‑implementation benefits to ensure ongoing accountability and transparent, data‑driven investment decisions.
  • Knowledge & Improvement: Establish mechanisms for a centralised lessons‑learned repository to drive a continuous improvement culture.
Required Experience & Capabilities
  • Portfolio Leadership: Deep experience establishing, leading, or maturing EPMO/TMO functions in highly complex environments.
  • Collaborative Governance: Proven track record managing investment lifecycles, enterprise governance forums, and benefit tracking models.
  • Framework Design: Expert‑level skills in building practical project delivery frameworks, assurance methods, and best‑practice toolkits.
  • Influencing & Partnership: Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior executives and build consensus through evidence‑based insights.
  • Team Leadership: Experience managing specialised portfolio/PMO teams through periods of organisational change.
  • Prior experience navigating government, public sector, or heavily regulated operating environments.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and enterprise technology delivery portfolios.
How to Apply

If you are a consultative leader who thrives on building delivery maturity through partnership rather than prescription, we want to hear from you. Please submit your updated CV highlighting your alignment with the capabilities outlined above.

Applications closing Wednesday 3rd COB

Redwolf + Rosch invite and encourage applications from all backgrounds of gender, disability, culture, and race. If you are a person with a disability and require modifications to the recruitment process, please contact the Recruitment Consultant.
