DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Import in Adelaide.

This position is responsible for managing all end-to-end activities involved in arranging and coordinating the transportation of import Air and Ocean consignments to their final destination. This includes customer quotations, following up with overseas partners, providing customer updates, and completing all destination-related tasks as required by the importer. All activities must be carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and specific customer requirements.

• Deliver a customer-first experience by providing clear, timely updates and proactive communication on all shipments.
• Manage end-to-end import workflows, ensuring each shipment meets customer requirements, timelines, and expectations.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact and advocating for their needs.
• Respond to customer enquiries, bookings, and quotations with a focus on service quality, accuracy, and responsiveness.
• Monitor shipment progress, resolve issues proactively, and ensure milestones are met to maintain a seamless customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with DSV standards while maintaining high data quality in CargoWise One and contributing to shared team communications.

• Excellent communicator, able to build trust, manage expectations, and provide clear, proactive updates to customers.
• Highly responsive and solutions-focused, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy while meeting deadlines and adhering to established processes and procedures.
• Confident and resilient, with a proactive mindset and a continuous improvement approach to enhancing the customer experience.
• Proven experience in freight forwarding (Air & Sea). Experience in CargoWise One is desirable.
