Overview

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Project Logistics & Procurement Lead based in North West Queensland. You’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all logistics and procurement activities required to support a large-scale renewable energy project delivery. This role oversees freight management, transport scheduling, equipment movement, warehousing, material control, and end-to-end procurement of project goods and services, ensuring availability, cost control, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Project management and regional Procurement, alongside engineering, commercial, mobilization, HSE teams, and site personnel, the Project Logistics & Procurement Lead ensures materials, equipment, and services are sourced, delivered, and managed safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with project requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage end-to-end logistics and supply chain plans for project mobilisation, construction, and demobilisation.
  • Work with mobilisation and project teams to align workforce, procurement, and logistics readiness.
  • Manage inbound and outbound freight across road, sea, and air transport.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and material tracking systems.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, tooling registers, and consumables management.
  • Onboard and embed global and regional Approved Suppliers into project operations.
  • Track procurement spend against approved budgets and forecasts.
  • Lead procurement activities (where required) for project materials, equipment and subcontracted services.
  • Carry out all Procurement engagements in accordance with Global and Regional procurement policy, frameworks and process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for logistics and procurement matters across the project.
You are
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, and procurement coordination or management within construction, renewables, resources, or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of freight, warehousing, supplier sourcing, and materials management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, lead times, and procurement schedules.
  • Knowledge of remote site operations and complex transport environments.
  • Familiarity with safety, CoR, and procurement governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP (Infor M3 preferred), procurement, and logistics systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to remote project sites.
