Fleet Allocator (Entry Level)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Junior Fleet Allocator to join our team based at the Port of Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in the transport and logistics industry. Previous fleet allocation experience is not essential – full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the allocation of fleet to ensure customer requirements are met.

• Support the timely and accurate updating of our Transport Management System.

• Maintain regular communication with drivers throughout the shift.

• Monitor daily transport operations and assist in resolving operational issues.

• Escalate any service delays or customer concerns as required.

• Support compliance with Fatigue Management, Maintenance Management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

• Assist in ensuring maintenance schedules and operational requirements are met.

• Contribute to a positive safety-first culture across the business.

• Deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with drivers, customers and team members.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Good computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.

• A positive attitude with a strong customer service focus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous experience in administration, customer service, scheduling, warehousing, transport, logistics or operations coordination will be highly regarded but is not essential.
