Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Courier Fleet Controller / Allocator to join our Brisbane team. This role is central to our same‑day operations, requiring someone who understands the pace, complexity, and decision‑making involved in managing a courier fleet. If you excel at dispatching, route optimisation, and real‑time problem‑solving, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your logistics career.
Key Responsibilities
Courier fleet allocation — Dispatch and coordinate same‑day courier jobs with a strong focus on efficiency and service quality.
Route optimisation — Make fast, informed decisions to maximise fleet productivity and minimise delays.
Driver communication — Provide clear, timely instructions and support to drivers throughout the day.
Client communication — Maintain professional, solution‑focused communication with customers.
Transport management systems — Use modern TMS platforms to manage job flow, monitor fleet activity, and maintain operational accuracy.
Assist with depot operations as required.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Courier fleet allocation experience — Previous experience allocating or dispatching courier fleets is highly regarded and strongly preferred.
Minimum one year of experience in the transport or courier industry (same‑day courier experience is a major advantage).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and natural problem‑solving ability.
Valid Australian driver’s licence and full working rights.
A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to learn quickly.
