About the Role
Aramex Perth has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Fleet Coordinator to lead franchise operations across the region and drive service excellence.
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing franchise operations across Adelaide to ensure safe, efficient, compliant and profitable service delivery. The role focuses on controlling costs, maximising operational efficiencies, developing and motivating Courier Franchisees, and ensuring service excellence in line with contractual, regulatory and EHSED requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure consistent delivery of Aramex network service standards, meeting customer expectations and contractual obligations across the region.
Lead, supervise and performance‑manage Courier Franchisees, Sub‑Contractors, Wage Drivers, Point Courier Suppliers and Outside Hire resources to deliver a reliable, value‑for‑money service.
Control regional operating costs and drive operational efficiencies while maximising productivity and revenue opportunities.
Coordinate and manage fleet operations to optimise utilisation, routing, capacity and service performance.
Ensure full compliance with scanning, bay clearance, run schedules, and pickup and delivery processes.
Oversee the efficient, safe and accurate loading and unloading of vehicles to ensure on‑time departures and service reliability.
Manage people performance across all delivery resources.
Plan, schedule and roster staff and franchise resources, including proactive next‑day operational planning.
Maintain clear and effective communication of delivery requirements and service standards with internal teams, customers and franchisees.
Monitor, audit and analyse operational data and daily fleet KPIs relating to costs, service performance and compliance.
Ensure full compliance with Aramex operational policies.
To be successful in this role:
Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in an operational environment, preferably within transport or logistics.
Demonstrated experience supervising franchisees, contractors or delivery resources.
Sound understanding of operational service standards, productivity measures, DiFOT and KPIs.
Strong knowledge of workplace safety (OH&S/EHSED) requirements.
Current driver’s licence.
Current forklift licence (desirable).
Recognised transport, OH&S or supervisory qualifications (desirable).
